On Sunday night, it was the battle of the possible ROY (Rookie of the Year) as Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers faced off against Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Hornets.

It’s safe to say Lillard won that battle with the game winning three-pointer with 4.2 seconds remaining in the game.

Needless to say, Lillard is the obvious ROY candidate.

Outside of Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard — the point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers — is one of the most talked about rookies and candidates for Rookie of the Year.
