It’s Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Memphis Grizzlies and the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday evening, and although this crazy circus shot from Marc Gasol didn’t count, it’s still pretty amazing to watch.
This is a fun little commentary on something that Scottie Pippen supposedly said and per usual it involves the endless Michael Jordan and LeBron James comparisons….
See, Alonzo Mourning was speaking at a Microsoft Store opening in Miami when he was hit with that infamous “MJ or Bron” question and Alonzo gave his answer while throwing Pippen under the bus, as well.
Here’s the quote: “I’m gonna tell you what Scottie said. Scottie said that LeBron would kick MJ’s ass.”
Obviously, Mourning ended it with him agreeing with Scottie’s supposed comments, but once again this event was in Miami, so one has to realize that this could have been part of a marketing ploy to appease a local market.

Kawhi Leonard has been absolutely fantastic for the San Antonio Spurs – especially during their series against the Golden State Warriors – on both sides of the ball, and in San Antonio’s Game 6 win, it was no different.
