With Amar’e Stoudemire out for a few more weeks, it gives Carmelo Anthony more time to be extremely effective at the four. During Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Anthony was just that, effective on both ends of the floor.
He ended up with 27 points on 18 shots and 5 rebounds and he passed when he needed to. His effort was on display as he dove into the crowd trying to save a ball.
This is a new Carmelo Anthony that is visible in all facets of the court and is also allowing his biggest critics to swoon a little.
