This would have been, perhaps, one of the best game-winners so far this season, if only it counted. The Denver Nuggets were down by one against the Golden State Warriors Thursday night, and with just five-tenths of a second left, Andre Iguodala nailed down the three pointer.
It would have been fantastic and quite the appropriate finish had it counted, but officials of the game waived it off as it appeared the ball was still in his hands when the buzzer sounded.
Although, it didn’t count, that was one terrific shot by Iguodala.
If only George Karl had used such a play with their early possession when there was, at least, a few seconds remaining on the clock.
