One of the best parts of the NBA, and it’s influence, is the way the community interprets and embraces that NBA team. Usually, this is seen in large markets such as Los Angeles and Boston, but the community that surrounds the Oklahoma City Thunder is on a whole different level.
Cross Timbers Elementary, in Edmond, Oklahoma, used the Oklahoma City Thunder as an example of teamwork during their spirit week under the theme “Power of One.”
They did this by amassing themselves into a human visual of the Thunder logo which can be seen below:
