You may remember the two best players in the league, Kevin Durant and LeBron James, worked out together last year dubbing it “Hell Week” and they both stated it was some of the best training of their professional career. The two are at it again tweets ESPN’s Brian Windhorst:
LeBron & Durant are back working out with each other in preparation for training camp. Last year they called it “hell week.”
This will rile up some that believe opponents, especially the #1 and #2 guy in the league, should not be working out together. That was something we saw in the 80′s, maybe the 90′s, but the fact is there aren’t rivalries in the NBA. These guys are bosom bodies once that clock is over, and why not train with the best player on the planet?
Greatness pushes greatness, no?
The only rivalries that still exist in the NBA, are the ones stuck in the fans’ heads.
