On Thursday, when the consensus #1 pick Anthony Davis entered the media room at the NBA Combine, boasting a “Check My Stats” t-shirt, media never asked about his shirt.

Not a big deal, right?

Not according to Thomas Robinson, who is considered a top five pick, was asked about Davis’ shirt and let’s just say he didn’t mince words:

Davis wasn’t asked about the meaning of the shirt, but Robinson wasn’t afraid to share his thoughts when reporters inquired.

“If you wanted to check the stats, then I’d be the No. 1 pick easily — if that’s what you want to do,” he said. “I should get one of those shirts. I’ll get a shirt that says, ‘Numbers don’t lie.’ “

Seems that Robinson may be harboring some ill feelings about all the attention that is swirling around Davis; someone should just remind Robinson at least you don’t have a unibrow.

Depending how you look at it, that could be a good thing…or a bad thing.
