Oh,how I love twitter. I really do, it’s where fans can freely interact with their favorite athletes or not-so favorite athletes. It’s also a place where professorial athletes act not so professional, just take Amar’e Stoudemire for instance.

Nothing horrible, right?? I have seen FAR WORSE from fans. The fan didn’t use curse words and was quite respectful….well for a Knicks fan, but apparently Amar’e doesn’t take kindly to advice from the New York Knicks fans that buy tickets to see his non-rebounding ass, the fans that buy merchandise for his punching a fire extinguisher self, or from the fans that continual have to deal with his sub par production as he sent this to the aforementioned fan. That’s right, Amar’e DM’d this fan and called him a “FAG” …. The fan tweeted it out with these words:

I suppose Amar’e didn’t get the memo that you probably should NEVER DM a random fan — especially one of your team — and call them the holy grail of emasculating names. Furthermore, I suppose it slipped his mind that one can SCREEN SHOT the DM, tweet it on twitter and now it’s being blogged about? Oh! What am I thinking? He wouldn’t think about this, I mean, I’m talking about the guy that bought R.Kelly braids back and punched a fire extinguisher encased in glass. We are talking about the Amar’e that wears this to a Miami Heat playoff game: Same Amar’e that racked up a whopping 4 rebounds in a playoff game against the Miami Heat.
