People need to remember that the Clips were NOT the only team to lose a player, Bulls lost Derrick Rose during the season for some games and then AGAIN in the playoffs. Spurs lost Ginobli for at least 20 games if they made that an excuse and played poorly they most likely would not have finished 1 in the west also didn’t one of their players (Spurs) T.J. Ford I think his name is get a neck injury and have to retire? Heat lost some players for a while. Trailblazers lost Brandon Roy. Timberwolves lost Rubio and then Kevin around the end of the season. Iman for the the Knicks was out. May I go on? ALOT of players from different team got injured. So people need to STOP making excuses. Just sayin
All I am saying don’t start talking what would happen “If Chauncey did not get injured then…” then completely ignore the fact that others got injured too. To be fair let’s also talk what would have happen IF Derrick did not get injured IF Brandon Roy never got hurt, IF Rubio or Kevin did not get hurt, IF T.J. Ford never got injured. IF Jeremy Lin didn’t get injured etc.. LET’S BE FAIR. I also remember when Chris Bosh got injured during the playoffs people kept saying they didn’t want to hear Heat and Heat fans to use it as an excuse so I don’t understand why Chris Paul should be able to.
