Rumors are circulating that Portland — #6 and #11 picks — and Cleveland – #4 and #24 picks — are willing to trade their draft picks and while it seems strange that a team would move back in the draft, it’s a common tactic leading up to the NBA Draft.
It has been suggested that Portland is targeting Bradley Beal and wants that #4 pick to retain him.
Most mock drafts, and the impressive Draft Express has him being chosen at the Cavs #4 pick.
H/T I Am A GM

picks 6,10,11,2
swap 4 and 24 to blazers for 6 and 11. trade with hornets get 10 pick, ariza, okafor for cavs 2013 first and second, walton giving them cap relief. trade varejae and tristian thompson to bobcats for pick 2. draft pf thomas robinson,sf harrison barnes,sg austin rivers,c andre drummond in first round with picks 2,6,10,11. pick in second round, sg/sf will barton and pg tony wroten.
out line of trades can add picks our future picks, picks we got from lakers, kings, magic, miami, and take on salary to make trades happen.
You’re either delusional or stupid.
you have kings lottery pick, miami’s pick which can be used when there team is busted up and will be lotterry team and pick again, lackers pick, all our picks and magic and other second rounders. warriors traded haraway and three number ones for webber and just last year lakers traded two number ones for a point ……..any trade can happen with enough picks…..people like to be negative and put ideas down and reality the people that have some of these ideas played and watched the game there whole life and know alot about the game and the only stupid idea is the one not shared or tryed.
the bulls wern’t delusional to grab two of the top three picks in the one draft to get chandler and curry. yes, they used brand in a trade. you can use a stock of picks,an all-star cailabar center double double machine anderson varejae and high energy and high motor young prospect pf tristian thompson with the mountain of picks it would take. a person that says it can’t be done or it is stupid to look, try, and think.is a person that doesn’t know what it takes and will never succeed. you have to try and have to think. a person not thinking is a person not trying. as coach jimmy V would say don’t give up dont ever give up. or the classic thomas train kids book would teach many of youngsters to take with them to audult hood….i think ,i can….i think ,i can….i know, i can……i know i can! im not delusional or stupid. but im not a quiter and will always have the ideas and am not afaird to succeeed and im not ever giving up. you can do many things with the picks we have with plenty of options. you just have to think and try…..who knows somebody could be reading.
KJ……
that would be great, heck that would be awsome. what cavs fan could not LOVE that. i mean you would have to be drinking the koolaid if you would think that is even a possibility. for one you have 3 players that will be picked in the top 6. then you have the bobcats trading the number 2 pick for a couple of avarage at best role players. yeah TT was the 4 pick last year but he’d be lucky to crack the top 10 this year.
but i do think if drummond can find someone to motivate him and light that fire to be the best he will be the steal of the draft. even if he went 1. however that is a big if. almost 7 foot, 278 lbs. with only a little over 7 percent body fat, over 7’6 wingspan, and the athleticism of a SF. WOW. i’m just thinking of how coach scott and uncle drew might just be the pair he needs.
anything is possible and can happen with enough picks and the right deal….let the kids have the kool-aid……..miller time!
