Coming off of a win in which, the Celtics are advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals, Rajon Rondo is feeling confident as he believes the Celtics could topple the Heat in the best of 7 game series.
“We didn’t want it to end,’’ Rondo said. “I didn’t plan on going home tomorrow or any exit meetings right now.
“Last year is in the past. This year, we are a totally different team. We feel we can beat Miami. Obviously, we got to this point. There’s no doubt in my mind that we can, so we’ve got to go down there and take care of business.’’
It is true Miami will be without Bosh, and this will give Boston a slight advantage, but is Rondo that delusional in thinking they have an answer for the explosive duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade whom have come together fittingly in the past 3 games?
He must be talking of the sweltering Miami weather and not the professional basketball team.
Rondo certainly can not be that delusional, but then again it is Rajon Rondo we are speaking of.
