Twitter was on fire when Lil Wayne tweeted this before Game 3 of the matchup between Thunder-Spurs:
”Going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow.”
Rumors were spreading like wildfire that it had something to do with James Harden and his girl, Trina. However, Weezy just didn’t have a ticket.
But a rep for the OKC Thunder tells TMZ … “We did not deny him,” adding, “His representatives contacted us about court side tickets and we told them we are completely sold out.”
However, Lil Wayne sent a text to ESPN stating otherwise:
In a text message to ESPN’s Colleen Dominguez, Lil Wayne wrote, “They denied me the tix. Didnt want me in their arena. They also said if I do come, I can only sit behind the bench, not on the floor & that I wouldn’t be able to get any special escort nor entrance. They said its the ‘Oklahoma way’.”
So, the plot thickens or this could be Lil Wayne not wanting to look embarrassed for not having a ticket.
