Lamar Odom has had one hell of a year in the worst way possible. An emotional Odom was sent to Dallas, suffered some personal issues and was a non factor for Dallas. He was minutes away from playing in the D-League, but the end result would be Lamar and Dallas, amicably, parting ways.
Lamar has been out of the rumor mill the past few weeks, until now. The Mavs Blog reports the Dallas Mavericks’ players wanted to get one extra dig in towards Lamar Odom; they voted to not give Lamar Odom a piece of the playoff pie.
Unlike last year where they saw green in their eyes as they shared money from winning a championship, the money from a first-round playoff berth and exit was considerably less. However, they still had $194,016 to split among 14 players which comes to $13,858 apiece.
I can’t say this is some revealing information as Dallas expected Odom to be the Lakers’ Odom when he arrived in Dallas instead they received an excuse-making, non productive, emotional, mentally weak Lamar Odom.
