Despite a sprained knee that took Blake Griffin nearly out of the 4th quarter of Game 7 of round-one Western Conference Clippers-Grizzlies matchup, he seems to believe he will be ready to go for Game 1.
Griffin said Monday he feels about ”75 to 80” percent healthy after a sprained left knee sidelined the All-Star for nearly the entire fourth quarter in a Game 7 victory at Memphis on Sunday. He says rest is the only cure, but that’s a luxury the Clippers don’t have.
Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals is Tuesday in which San Antonio will play host to the Clippers.
In the playoffs, Blake is averaging 18 points, 52.7 % FG shooting, and 6.4 rebounds per game.
