Rookie sensation, Ricky Rubio, whom went with a torn ACL against the L.A. Lakers on March 9th, is set to have surgery in Vail, Colorado on March 21st. The surgery will be performed by a Dr. Richard Steadman at The Steadman Clinic.
Rubio was acquired by the Timberwolves with the fifth overall pick in the 2009 draft. Ricky has appeared in 41 games this season, of those starting 31 starts, while averaging 10.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 8.2 assists and a little over 2 steals per game.
